This boat-in campground offers a floating dock with a six boat capacity. Accessible year-round. There are four tent sites, three fire rings, four tables, and one toilet available. These sites are located right on the shore of Lake Chelan, with a short trail to view Domke Falls. There is no access to Domke Lake, Domke Lake National Recreation Trail #1280 nor Domke Mountain Lookout Trail #1280.1 from Domke Falls.
From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97 Alternate for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat approximately 18 miles uplake. Domke Falls Campground is on the south shore. Note: Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a popular boat launch for accessing many up lake recreation sites via personal boat. Please check their website for amenities, fees, and schedule: parks.wa.gov/293/Twenty-Five-Mile-Creek
If you can get a spot at the dock you're in for a treat as each campsite has a magical view!
Lake Chelan's water level drops significantly in the Fall & Winter. Domkey campground appears to be one of the few sites where the pier remains accessible by boat year round.
Simply a beautiful spot to spend the night. Floating dock has room for 3-4 boats. You may find snakes sunning themselves here so tread slowly. Great swimming.
