Nestled in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Lake Creek (Entiat River) Campground offers visitors some of the stunning scenery in sunny central Washington and easy access to an abundance of recreational activities, such as hiking, dirt biking and mountain biking.
Hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and dirt biking top the list of recreation activities in the area. Three different trails start adjacent to the campground and are open to most activities. The Silver Falls National Recreation Trail is a short drive up the river and provides a great family hike to spectacular waterfalls. Backpackers and horse riders can enjoy the trails of the Glacier Peak Wilderness from the Entiat River Trailhead approximately 12 miles from the campground.
Lake Creek (Entiat River) Campground offers sites that accommodate both tent and RV camping, however hookups are not available. Picnic areas, trails and scenic overlooks, along with the conveniences of firewood (available at Silver Falls), drinking water and CXT vault toilets, give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while still having many of the conveniences of home.
Many of the sites overlook the Entiat River as it cascades down the valley to meet the Columbia. The open forest provides plenty of sunshine and diverse habitat that supports deer, bears, coyotes and many other creatures. Salmon and steelhead still use the Entiat as spawning grounds.
Silver Falls National Scenic Trail provides a one and a half mile loop hike to a large waterfall. Hundreds of miles of multiple use trails are accessible from nearby trailheads. Entiat National Fish Hatchery is at mile six on the Entiat River Road and welcomes visitors in the summer. The tourist destinations of Chelan and Leavenworth are a relatively short drive away.

Great spot to camp with the family! The river is rushing too hard to swim or play at but the views are beautiful and relaxing!
We just had a really great stay. Was a beautifull campground, and incredibly clean. You can tell people really take pack in and pack out to heart. Restrooms were as clean as you would expect from a public campground, but the TP was well stocked and trash bags were hung. Paved roads were well maintained as well. There are bear proof dumpsters at the entrance. Pictured posted are of camp site 17.
Excellent campground! We stayed here Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. Site 1 is huge and we had plenty of room for our six person tent, car, and badminton “court”! The site also has a lower area right on the creek with a picnic table and trails to the road and down to the river—we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The other campsites were definitely smaller, but still looked nice and spread out. Toilets were as clean as expected for being pit toilets and the road was in great condition! Water pump was not working when we were there. Lovely campground with a great (chilly) swimming spot by Entiat Falls.
We stayed here for two nights.
The sites are enormous. Unlike some places that feel crowded, we were far enough away from our neighbors that we rarely noticed them. The fire pits are in great shape, but you'll need to keep an eye on burn restrictions because that area can get very dry. The parking spaces on sites 1 and 2 could accommodate at least 3 full-size vehicles. The campsite runs along a creek, and although there is some noise, it's not terrible.
There is a well maintained pit toilet near site 4, but there's no sink or plumbing.
And although there is a water pump, the water it produces is very rusty and discolored. I would recommend bringing your own drinking water.
