Awesome campground! 2nd time there and will be back again!
Good place had fun stayed in 4 and 6 big oper area for family camping
Beautiful and peaceful. Small campground with water and 2 small toilets. Being off the main road males it a quiet place.
Camped at lot 7. Beautiful forrest surroundings on a creek. A firepit with grill was provided. Minimal bugs and mosquito kept to a minimum with bug repellant. The park host from Upper Johnnys was great. Also purchased 3 bundles of wood for $20. The creek water was super cold.
Great campground, close to the water, it also large trees for cover and attaching a hammock or tarp shelter.
There are 2 pit toilets, and a water source.
The road to get there is a little rough but any 2wd vehicle can do it.
I tried fishing but the current was too fast, at early summer.
I did notice people pulling out other folks reservations, hence be careful with that, and leave a few chairs or something to ensure no one takes your site.
Very quiet sites, i think sites 1, 2,3 are amazing.
Enjoy!!
