Scenic, private sites, most on the river with mountain views. Fire pits, huge picnic tables, pit toilets, trash barrels, no hookups. Paved road and flat, paved parking at each site. Great for dry camping rv's, a few sites were tents only. Very cold at night in early September, but hardly any neighbors this time of year either. Lots of hiking trails along Icicle Rd, most of them intermediate to strenuous level. Plenty of places to stop along Icicle Rd to just take in the incredible views. Only 15 minutes to town (and cell service).

Great campground not far from Leavenworth, WA. Campsites all had picnic tables and fire pits. The lower campground is along the river, can hear the water rushing by and good amount of trees between you and the next campsite. The upper campground is across the road and away from the river if you'd prefer more quiet surroundings (Upper was also cheaper than the lower, likely since it's not along the river). Vault toilets w/ hand sanitizer, no showers and the water spigot seemed a bit rusty. I'd recommend bringing drinking water. Fantastic getaway spot!

Great spot. $24 per tent site per night. Friendly camp hosts. Spot 15 is stellar. The river is so loud at the campground, which was great for sleeping!

Wonderful experience. The lower campground was almost full when we arrived Thursday night, upper campground was empty all weekend. Good clean campground.
