What a great campground! It's family run and they treat you like family. The bathrooms were amazingly clean and spacious. As a 6 foot tall woman that extra 2 inches is luxurious. We will definitely be staying here again.
This campground is the best! If you enjoy clean and quiet, this the place for you. We had the best experience during the Sturgis rally and we will definitely be back. Nice hookup sites and tent sites. The people are very friendly and helpful. And they make the best burgers after a long day riding. Thank you Vanocker Canyon Campground!!
when we pulled into Sturgis half way threw the rally and we had no camping and thought we would be paying a lot !!! well this place was not, very reasonable rates, and the family who was running it for the first time this year could not have been nicer, they had a good breakfast and a dinner, if we were to come back we would def stay here, our stuff felt safe when we went riding and showers and bathroom were clean for the most part, the party bus going to the venues at the bigger places was so fun, we would highly recommend this campground!
This place won't answer their phone or answer emails. I've been trying to get a hold of them since April and it's now the end of July. I had an emergency my mom has become real sick and is now staying with me and I can't make it to the rally this year and maybe not for many years so I emailed to cancel my reservation for the rally, and no reply. I didn't even get a reply saying they received my money for a camp spot so I really don't know if I have one.
Absolutely the dirtiest nasty bathrooms I've ever had to use for one week. Nobody cleaned them or the showers. Ran out of toilet paper and half of the toilets were plugged up most of the time. The location of the place is close to town, and the property is nice, but that's the only thing good. People complained about how nasty it was and the owners did nothing....
