About Campground

Flamingo Falls Campground just opened on June 6th, 2023. We have 161 sites all together. 71 tent sites. 60 pull through. 30 back-in sites. We can accommodate anything from tents to big rigs. All RV sites have 20/30/50-amp services, while all tent sites have 20/30-amp services. There are six water hose spickets throughout the tent section. We offer 15 bath houses: 7 in the main office building and 8 in the west bath house with 3 of them being handicap accessible. A dump station is located along the way as you are leaving the campground. Our premium waterfront sites have fire pits and picnic tables. We are equipped to dispense propane on site.

In our main campground office, we have a convenient store stocked with food, beer, ice, firewood and camping supplies. We make pizzas and are capable of delivering it to your camping site. We provide coin operated washers and dryers. The office also contains a bar, complete with 10 video lottery machines for you to try your luck on. Five TVs are located throughout the building, so you will never miss a play on the games. Our game room is stocked with air hockey and foo's ball. The game room is big enough to accommodate up to 75 people for birthday parties, family reunions, wedding receptions, or just a get together. We have a catch and release fishing pond, on private property, so a fishing license is not necessary.

In addition, we have Wild Water West Waterpark next door to us. One pass gives you access to all waterpark attractions, go-karts, mini golf, and batting cages. So, attempt every waterslide, float down our lazy river, or air dry on our fast action go-kart again and again. We also have multiple concession stands, a swim-up bar, picnic pavilions, shade cabanas, a bathhouse, and 25,000-square feet of sunny decking-every amenity needed under the sun.

Directions

Turn in Wild Water West parking lot and you will turn left and come to the farthest gate that says enter. We have a road leading campers in sectioned off with safety cones.

Had a great time. The lazy river has a very rough floor that will definitely cut up your feet. The wave pool was very tame, but for the most part everything was great. One stall door in the men’s restroom connected to the gift shop is broken, but they were all fairly clean. The slides were great fun for the kids, and the swim up bar was fantastic. The go karts we’re extremely sketchy and didn’t really work very well, but I don’t know many people that go to Wild Water West for the go karts.

Took my boys (8 and 10) along with their 4 friends on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. All the kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave.

Lines were manageable for slides on this busy Saturday.

Only downfall was the food was a little pricy for the quality of food but nice portions.

Plus beer for the adults!!

We stayed several days at the campground. They just opened and are still working out some kinks, but they more than made up for any minor inconveniences with exceptional service. Will definitely be staying here again.

Spent a full day at the nextdoor water park. It is a nice water park that has plenty of things to do. My only criticism is the menu prices posted online do not match with actual prices. Still was a great time.

We spent 4th of July in the campground. We didn't get a full day in the Waterpark due to weather but had a great time nonetheless. The campground is quite new with new buildings which are very nice. There are many unfinished details, mainly the landscaping and roads. It got really muddy after a thunderstorm rolled through. The roads are a little rough, they will shake stuff loose if you go too fast.

My son is terrified of tornadoes and was very happy to see that they have a massive storm shelter. All in all, we had a great time. It is definitely worth the detour if you are RVing with kids on I90.
