About Campground

One of the oldest campgrounds in Sturgis, just 4 1/2 miles from Sturgis.

A biker paradise of majestic shade trees with music, beer and fun times in our old historic bar with a big outdoor dance floor and great band every night, where you can dance under the stars. We have laundry facilities, bike wash station, big general store, and a restaurant with good food.

There are two showerhouses located throughout the campground, 20 acres of great camping-cabins, campers and RV sites available for rent and plenty of shady tent spaces galore - send in your reservations and give Mary a call for any questions you might have

Directions

Just turn off Interstate 90 at exit 30 , follow Lazelle St. through Sturgis. It will take you out on Hwy 34 east.

Stay on Hwy 34 and 4 1/2 miles from Sturgis you'll see our sign on the left-hand side of Hwy 34. The sign to look for is at the top of this page.

Turn left at this sign and then take the 1/2 mile road into the campground. Our campground provides Lots of Shade with a magnificent view of Bear Butte.

Having stayed for a week I am still not sure if it is a Dump you can stay at or a camp ground you can dump at. Too many problems to write about. Dirty, too many things to list that need to be fixed and or thrown away. Floor in cabin not level I was afraid I would fall through. Bugs in ceiling light. Chairs lawn furniture broken unsafe. food, bands, hot water etc provided by not today maybe tomorrow.

We stayed here for 8 days during Sturgis rally 2022. Clean and quiet. Great location. Main restroom and shower facilities are nice. Outhouse facilities are outhouses. Great place for the price. Camper van.

I have to say our stay there was great. The staff was wonderful, the food was good and at reasonable price. Now this year the band was, well lets just say it could have been better, (but thats no ones fault). The place needs some TLC, the shower heads need to be replaced. Some of the old stumps could be remove, just things like that. other then a few. things it a good place to stay, if you want to get away from the load party crowds.
