Such an amazing campground. Friendly, accommodating staff that took excellent care of us. Thanks to Bry for being so great to us! Great visit for Joshua Tree National Park and not too far from the Coachella Valley which is so beautiful too. There's a park right behind the camp with tennis courts, play ground, skatepark, and a community center. Everything you need is here - laundry room, bathrooms, showers, fire pits, picnic tables, microwave, and even a big grill, free to use! Highly recommend!
Great staff that were flexible with scheduling and accommodating with space next to another family we were traveling with, despite our different arrival times. The grounds are kept clean, as well as the restrooms, showers, laundry facilities and pavilion. Picnic tables were sturdy and in great condition. A few movable fire pits are provided. Other campers were respectful of spaces and quiet hours. The grounds are fenced, and felt like a safe lot to camp in all around. If you have Verizon, there's a tower very close to the property, so your signal is going to be GREAT. The Wifi is a bit finicky, and seems to work better on laptops than mobile devices like phones or tablets if you plan on streaming videos or games. Overall, definitely a good place for a family camping trip! Pets are welcome and the site has waste disposal for them too.
Joshua Tree RV and Campground is a reliable spot for camping near Joshua Tree National Park. The sites have a decent setup, capturing that authentic desert atmosphere. The night sky is truly spectacular, although they keep some lights on, so it may not be the optimal spot for stargazing. The facilities are clean, albeit not luxurious. Overall, it's a good choice for a desert getaway, especially if you can't secure camping inside the national park.
Amazingly convenient location to the park & town. Minimal amenities, enough to tent or trailer camp: showers, bathrooms, laundry, shared grill, games, patio. No common indoor space. Sites are bare-ones, just crushed gravel. Only a few picnic tables and portable fire pits. Lots of space between the rows.
