From jct Hwy 163 & Hwy 261: Go 3-1/4 mi S on US 163.
I appreciated the polite and accommodating service. Older facility in need of TLC but suited my simple needs at a very reasonable price. Quiet, great views, central to a lot of attractions. Will stay again and recommend. Was an overnight stop to Moab. 41ft toy hauler.
All of Mexican Hat has seen better days and I’m sure the last two years with the pandemic has taken a toll on this area of Utah. Despite the office building not appearing like an RV park office, this location is perfect as a central area to visit Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley and any other attractions. The sites are quite level, on gravel, pull through, with FHU 30 amp and a beautiful easterly Mountain View. You can walk down to the boat launch on the San Juan River right below the RV park. Jess is very friendly and accommodating, has pizza and beer and some other eats available. 7-11 is across the road with the typical and fuel. It’s extremely quiet at night here. We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our two day excursions.
Nice place for an RV. I stopped for the beer and pizza. Beautiful views and close to so many things to see. Gas is across the street. Friendly people to help you out. I’ll go back for a stay and the boat ramp
Great little campground they have 6 30amp full hookups and 6 15amp sites and I would assume additional sites are available with no hookups. Also there is access to the river for river tubing and access to RZR riding and boondocking in the dessert. Access to the reservation. $34 per night for this area is not too bad.
Nice, quiet, small rv park with level, gravel sites. The owner lives on site and was very nice and accommodating. Stayed for three nights and explored the area. 7 eleven and gas station across the street. Would stay again if in the area.
