We had an excellent experience in cabin 7. The cabin was very clean and the amenities were far better than you would expect for the price. The owner even took the time to walk us to the cabin and go over features of the room/nearby activities and food.
I didn't stay in the cabins I just shopped in the little general store and oh my goodness they have the best jewelry I've ever seen. Really lovely pieces, well made and they can tell you all about the artist who made the piece. A fabulous place for souvenirs or trip momentos!
We stop in at the Torrey Trading Post every time we go to Capitol Reef. I always find a must-have item or two. They are always helpful and friendly. We've never stayed in the cabins. We are looking into them for our next trip there.
Great for the solo traveler! Rooms and shared bathrooms were warm, spotless, cozy, and comfortable. You have access to firepits for your own cooking. I never had an issue with slow WIFI or the tv channels not working. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful - the business is run by locals who live in Torrey. There is a wonderful gift shop on the property as well. The cabins are directly across the street from the town grocery store, Capitol Burger, and This Old House. Other restaurants and the Wayne County Farmer's Market are within a block's walking distance or a short drive. I will stay here again in the future.
Wow!! What a gem we found! This small business has excellent prices, a super homey and hospitable feeling, and I loved the historic building preserved and repurposed on the property as well as the eclectic sculptures out front. The hosts were super friendly and gracious, the amenities are excellent inside the cabins, and you are super close to Capitol Reef National park and some stellar views!
