Great lake for a day hike or overnight trip. Not too strenuous, but far enough off the beaten path to keep away the riff raff. Both lakes have camping sites and offer quite a bit of privacy.
This is a fantastic spot for hiking and overnight camping. Go early on a weekend because the tent spots fill up quickly. I did this with my 9yo daughter and we had a blast. We’ll be back.
