From Cottage Grove, Oregon, take Exit 174 off of Interstate 5. Travel East on Row River Road for approximately 5 miles; you will cross Row River twice. The entrance to the campground is on the left side of the road immediately after you cross Row River for the second time.
Very clean, well maintained camp ground with large camping sites and a beautiful river a few feet away. There is also a nice playground for kids and bicycling around the grounds is fun as well. There are trails to hike on and the dam on the nearby lake provides a great spot for landscape photos. There are clean, well maintained restrooms also.
What a quiet and beautiful area. Friendly reception. Well taken care of. Only complaint was that the campsite had no shade at all. The sun can get a bit hot in summer. The walk up to the dam is steep, but worth it! Wish I took a swim there. Maybe next time.
