Take a nice drive in the beautiful Umpqua National Forest and untuck this gem. There were three other small groups fishing along the lake when we arrived. It has become more known, or maybe during the COVID19 regulations people just want to get out and take in the fresh air without Worrying about wearing a mask. There’s a campground around the lake. There is another lake called Lake in the Woods up here as well. Hemlock Lake is bigger and cleaner. My kids took a little dip in the lake. We hiked into Yakso Falls which is a beautiful waterfall. We were going to hike into Hemlock Falls but we were worn out from all of our adventures through the day to get here. We had a great time!
