Thousands of mosquitoes and no fish in the lake, still a quite spot
Beautiful lake to relax with friends, pack in and pack out with only a few spots.
Loud stereos, motorboats, jet skis and a ton of children running through the campgrounds. There's really nowhere to go or hike to from here and with the roads open again there's no reason to stop.
We camped here for a night after all other camp grounds around the area were totally full. It was beautiful and there wasn't another person around for miles. They have a bathroom, potable water is available about 10 miles away if needed. The only reason we didn't stay longer was we were looking to fish and this lake does not have any fish in it at all.
