This place is so beautiful! I believe Loop B is closest to lake access. We had my wedding here and it was perfect! Quiet, intimate, perfect for kids and dogs to run around.. The bathrooms weren't too far and the toilets flushed which was great but make sure to bring hand sanitizer to clean your hands after! The short walk to the water is downhill and very rocky so wear shoes. On the walk to the water you'll see trail signs in either direction, I believe a bike trail? We only saw 4 bicyclists use it during our 4 day stay so I'll it was still pretty private. In the summer beware of meat bees!! There were swarms of them during our stay and although we stayed on cleaning up and keeping food and garbage put away they were everywhere so just be prepared. Honestly it was a great place and we plan to return again sometime in the next few years! This will become one of our regular spots
Beautiful weather, very clean and comfortable, flushing restrooms, water is a little jaunt away but quite rock so bring water shoes or calloused feet. Pits have grills but need to clean or bring skillets. The view of the night sky is one you wont regret.... (dont mind the footwear- cut wood without hard toe at own risk)
You should know that it is a 20 minute hike to the water front. It is well shaded and the bathrooms do flush so that's a plus. Also you have access to running water so no need to bring lots with you.
Very nice group site. Lake is very low, and it rained a lot during our stay. Even wet the sites were fairly clean, but the path to the lake was steep and muddy.
