We had an amazing experience at Bushytail Campground. The sites are spacious and the bathrooms were impressively clean. Thomas, the camp host, was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. It is a quick 3 min drive to the lake. We rented kayaks at the resort down the street for the day at a reasonable price. I recommend a shade tent for the lake. I highly recommend visiting!

Awesome, beautiful, clean and quiet campground. Just a few minutes drive from Trinity Lake. My family and I stayed here for three nights and they were all wonderful. Deer came walking right next to our campsite. We spent the days fishing and hiking. Thomas the camp host was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this campground. There are restrooms, clean water to drink and showers.

Camp Sites are pretty spread out. Restrooms are clean with flushable toilets and running water. We also have access to hot water showers for a small $5 fee (carry exact change). All campsites have a fire pit and a good sized bear proof locker. There is a general store on the water in the Marina (5mins away). Drive up to boat docking station and ask for directions. Highly Recommend this for anyone just getting into camping.

Clean and well maintained site with shower, among the best we've been visited. Quite and peaceful throughout our stay. Tom is an accommodating host and always there to help. He rescued and saved our cat when she jumped and stuck 50 feet above on a pine tree. We can not thank enough of him.
