Arrived late around 9:30 - owners were very responsive, accommodating and welcoming. We stayed in a tent the first day and went to a cabin the next day because it rained the whole day.
We were able to fish at the Dam down the street. Loved staying here would highly recommend for families, couples, or people looking to fish. 🙂
13 of us just spent 3 days at Tippy Dam and it was a great time! Beautiful camp sites! Great fishing for the whole family. It was rustic without the showers but we were having so much fun, it didn’t even matter! Thank you for a wonderful time.
Great owners, very kind... better to call tham book online. The only complaint is it's not actually on the river... but for a fisherman that can handle a LOT of stairs, it's a great location. Bring shoes to the dam though, there's evidence of line and hooks in the beautiful, clear sandy water. We rented the home and enjoyed a local lake suggested by the owner. Very accommidating and sweet!
The owners are super nice and helpful. Restroom was clean. Sites were spacious but grass needed cut. Some shabby looking perhaps permanent campers which led to my rating of 3 stars. The nearby town of Manistee is a must see.
