Indian Lake Campground Indian Lake Campground is located on the 34-acre Indian Lake. The lake is surrounded by national forest, except a few small private ownerships on the northwest and southeast sides of the lake. The lake has clear water and a sandy bottom, and is popular for fishing. A boat launch provides both motorized and nonmotorized boating access to visitors. The lake is shallow and is characterized by reeds around the edges. The lake at its deepest is 10 feet. Flickr Photo Album

We enjoyed the campground. It would have been nice if they had a couple more showers.
Check lake conditions for fishing. Right before our visit the lake had elicited Ecoli levels… but we’re apparently fine when we arrived… but the campground office warned us about issues with swimmer’s itch. So, we avoided the lake and opted to swim at Lake Michigan.
Very nice and clean camp ground, free showers for campers. Decent sized sites. Steps to the water for all campers.
Nice views of Indian Lake from some campsites, but many of the sites are wide open without trees. Some are really nice. We were in site #126, with a view of the lake across the loop drive. It was great. Electric hookup. Bathhouse, especially showers were good, but could use some updating.
