Located on the scenic Manistee River backwaters of the Hodenpyl Dam. It's an ideal camping area for the entire family to spend the night, several days or weeks. It will be long remembered as a restful vacation and picturesque spot for campers, fishermen and photo enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty of nature. The Manistee River is known for King Salmon and Steelhead. However, there are other species in the river, like rainbow and brown trout, smallmouth bass, or pike in the spring, summer and fall. Pat's RV Park has 88 sites. We also have bath facilities and laundry. We offer basketball, volleyball and a play area for the kids. In addition to our campsites, we have cabins and pontoon boat rentals. Stop by for a visit! We are located at 2944 N Pat's Place, Mesick, Michigan 49668.
Quiet. Clean camp ground. Paddle boats available for the kids and fishing pond on site. Beautiful sunset
Beware of this campground! Was deceived at the RV Camper Show in February at their booth stating that they could fit our 3 very large fifth wheels on a peninsula. They reassured us several times they would fit. We booked at the Camper show with them and they did all the booking on their computer so we didn't actually see the booking on their website. My husband and I were up camping a few days earlier at another campground before heading there. He had an uneasy feeling about this place so we went to check it out. Good thing we did because there was no way we could fit 2 44 ft Fifth Wheels and one 30 foot Fifth Wheel. I guess having faith that they were honest we didn't bother to check out the website till close to July 4th and it states that those spots were for 25 ft!!!!! Bad on my part for not looking sooner but again I had faith that they were honest. After all the campgrounds we have been to I have never had a campground be dishonest about the size of the lots till now. They would not refund our money or I would have even taken a partial refund and I wouldn't even have posted a bad review. Lesson learned!
This campground has 2 separate areas. The lake area really caters to seasonal campers with only a handful for overnights. The sites are extremely small but quiet. Our picnic table was duct taped. The water spout post was on the ground. Still better than the other very open area. Bathhouse needs updates. Not my favorite park :(
Celebrating the end of our week here at Pat's RV park. It's clean and quiet. The staff are very nice and helpful. We had some voltage issues and they discounted us for a couple nights. They came to check on us to see how we were doing. How Wonderful! I highly recommend if your camping or rv'ing that you check out this hidden gem clear out in the woods. You'll love it!
