We were there with horses for four nights in June of 2021 for an AERC endurance ride. The campground is beautiful, the owners are nice, and the riding trails are wide and easy. The place is quiet and kid-friendly, with a playground. The campsites are large and easy to maneuver for a 3 horse living quarters RV.

The pond is very picturesque. There were several people that went swimming. There is a sign about swimming at your own risk.

A friend and I rode horses one evening about 5:30 p.m. It was the only time I rode while at this campground. The huge, biting, black flies causes so much pain for us and the horses that we turned back to camp after 10 minutes of riding.

Be prepared for the biting flies before riding the trails!

I really don't want people to know where this campground is because it's definitely a beautiful place to camp if you want peace and quiet. I work in retail so going camping here is important I don't get bothered by to many people. I'm sure you retailer's would have to agree... Also the staff working here are amazingly friendly and the campground is always tidy and clean..

Campground was mowed Sites had electric and were good sized and shaded. Quiet and in middle of nowhere. No one there. Maybe six out of 50 sites occupied. Buildings run down. We were not treated well by the owner. How we were treated explained why no one was there. Will not go back. Don't trust five star reviews.....go look before you spend your money.

I have camped here a few times and it is truly the perfect spot to get away from it all and just be with nature. The sites are great size, Pat the owner is super kind and helpful and we will absolutely be back. Minimal cell signal but that's not why we are out there!! Thank you again for another wonderful experience! Looking forward to seeing you again! - Bec

This is a wonderful camp ground with excellent, kind, and thoughtful management! We were there with our 2 horses for 5 days and it was perfect. Beautiful trails, huge campsites so you don't even notice your neighbors and fantastic service. We will be going back!!!
