From Gwinn you will travel approximately 7 miles east on M-35 until you reach Horseshoe Lake Road on the left. There is signage for West Bass Lake State Forest Campground. You will then turn left and continue about 4 miles to the sign for the campground.
Only 22 sites, in the woods, Couple miles in, rustic, no electricity, peaceful only 1/2 full so very private. Self registration. loved it.
Beautiful large rustic sites on a secluded lake. Vault toilets, boat ramp and swimming from your site.
I only say 4 stars because all the fish have parasites other then that it was great.
This old shabby no frills spot
Problems with lots of noisy aggressive large dogs some not leashed or barking all nite.
And if your neibor has a generator
Forget about sleeping .....
So pick your spot very carefully.
