The greatest place to be! The campground has a lot to offer; a nice beach, a volleyball net, a basketball court, a playground, shuffleboard, and an open field for dogs. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I've camped at Timber Trails 3 times, and each stay is a fun and relaxing time. I love how close it is to Decatur since it provides easy access to grocery shopping and restaurants. Spending time at the campground makes me happy, I'll definitely camp there again. :)

I was there this past weekend with family. It was like one big family. Lots of things to do. Plenty of shade. The beach was nice and the manager was friendly. All in all a great place.

5 star family park. The neighbors make this place awesome. Small town feel everybody knows everybody looking out for the kiddos and sharing whatever you have to offer. The waterfront is top notch to match.

Nice place, kids not running everywhere, seems well kept up, kinda in the middle of nowhere. All the people we talked to in our area were really nice. I see some older post talking about management treating them badly, I have talked to the owner when we signed in and he has only had it a couple years and is doing ongoing work to keep making it nicer, nice guy and you should not hold old management or owners against him, great experience.

Very nice campground off the beaten path with a nice lake to boot! Nice size campground with many seasonal residents. Which is a great deal, by the way! Check it out yourself if interested in a lakeside cottage (RV) of your own. All sites are full hook up with picnic tables and fire rings. There is a laundry room, nice playground and kayaks to rent for a low fee. The lake is called "Lake in the Woods". If you are looking for a nice place with easy in and out and many sites that fit big RV's, check them out!
