Sherwood Forest Campground & Resort

so im rly not a camping girly especially camgrounds but the nice lady let us change from a very low campsite to a higher one due to rain coming in and a group of people cancelling. Also the bathrooms are always an issue with me but these were clean and nice and i was impressed love this place

Stayed there last weekend and I won’t be back. Advertised with a heated pool in which this pool was not heated and was so cloudy and green tint. There were several rvs that should have been hauled off to the junk yard. Our spot was across from two of these wrecks. Game room was musty smelling and had couches that were sketchy looking. Games were out dated and none of them really worked. Evenings were quiet and enjoyable that’s about the only positive.

Used to be a childhood favorite place. Even took my wife and family back once I became of age and we loved it. Then just recently, I went back to try and obtain some information about nightly rates and was told by the new manager to get out, that we weren't welcome, because they were full and she refused to answer any questions.

Love that it’s out in the country and there’s spots to cool off and a pool for everyone to enjoy there are activities for adults and kids. Very friendly people and great up keep on the campground I live down the road from here and herd nothing but good things. Only problem is getting ahold of them I’ve emailed them and never got a reply you midus well go there to find them and talk to them face to face
