Love this place and will definitely be back! Felt immediately welcomed and comfortable the second we walked in. The donut boats were extremely easy to operate and fun. Our two dogs loved the day out on the boat. The staff was more than accommodating and helpful. Love that it is family operated! We cannot wait to come back with friends!!!!
We rented a retro boat on our visit to Saugatuck and it was a highlight of our trip! The staff and service they provided was fantastic. We had booked for later in the day but called and asked if we could change to an earlier time and they were so friendly and accommodating. We had perfect weather for our little cruise through the channel. Such a fun way to enjoy the lake!
This was a fun and easy thing to do when in Saugatuck. Our boat Doris had a front lower level, which was nice. Gingham pillows and accent wall board. Electric motors for a quiet ride. The staff was friendly and informative. Thanks, Retro.
I booked the basic boat ( her name is Ruby and she was born in the late 50s) for me and my family. It was my first time ever driving a boat, so I was pretty nervous. The staff did an amazing job of explaining everything, calming any fears that I had, and thoroughly explaining how everything on the boat works. I'm very happy with the value and price. As a matter of fact, it is well worth the price. If you are a first-time boat rider, or have never captained your own, you MUST try this. My wife has been coming to Saugatuck since she was a kid, and never knew about this hidden gem of a place. I absolutely recommend it to everyone, and you will have so much fun! A very pleasant experience on a beautiful day in one of my favorite cities.
HIGHLY recommend for a fun, cute boat ride! We rented Laverne, an electric boat. Super cute and leisurely paced. Madeline helped us and did an awesome job explaining things. This is a great, relaxing way to enjoy time on the water!
