This was our first KOA stay ever. Probably never will again. This was Awful! Looks can be deceiving for sure. It’s a nice looking campground. Relatively well groomed. But that’s where the good parts end. You are packed on top of each other. They do not enforce the quiet hours at night at all!
Restrooms and showers are disgusting! Even when you let the staff know the bathroom is out of paper towels it took them 6 hours before someone came to refill them. Despite the fact we watched 4 different ‘cleaning crew’ patrols go and check on the facilities.
If you try to take a walk around you are constantly dodging brats on bikes, skate boards and scooters not to mention Teenagers drag racing golf carts. All hours of the day and night you have nothing but barking dogs, screaming kids and arguing drunk couples.
The last straw is constantly watching strangers bluntly walking through you campsite just to save a ten foot walk to the other side of the path.
This is a fairly nice campground. A lot of activities for children and families. They had a Halloween weekend when we were there with trick or treating from 4 - 5:30. They have a some very nice campsites but some are a little small.
Great campground with lots to do. We came for the Halloween weekend, and it was great. It's like a small village when you come to stay here. Lots of cabins and campsites. Some of the Halloween displays are absolutely amazing. It's really nice to see so many kids dressed up and running around enjoying it. Made reservations for next year already. That is actually the only down side, it's such a popular place you really NEED to book way in advance.
