The salesman that we talk to acted like we were stupid, says that since we were not homeowners we would not understand. The resort looks like it needed a lot of repairs . and we flat out told him we could not work this into our budget and he kept working away at us. I would not recommend that campground to anybody because of the way I was treated
The salesman that we had sold us on the advantages of being a member. This we considered to be worth the price of the membership. He told us that we would receive a two night/ 3 day stay at Great Wolf Lodge, 1 free week in their cabins, $10 dollar campsites all around the country, $50 dollar a week rental of cabins in their sister resorts and memberships to other travel services. We recieved non of these. The campground was not in good repair except for the camp store, the pool and the put put coarse. After we purchased and went home we had a few questions regarding our membership so we called our salesman who never returned our call and the campground which never returned our call so we tried to cancel our membership but no return call so we contacted our credit card company who also tried to contact them with no luck so they will be refunding our money directly back to us. I would not join this campground unless you just want to stay there.
We supposedly won a drawing for a tablet and $100 gift card to any restaurant of our choice. So we went to pick it up and they sold us a membership to their campground. Well the Tablet did not work and the gift card was not a gift card but a buy one get one free card. We notified them that we did not want to participate in the membership and notified them in writing within 1 day of meeting with them. They told us that our credit card would be refunded within 10 business days and they would send us a new tablet. Well they still haven't credited our card and we have not seen a new tablet as they promise. They also are not returning our calls as promised so my only advise is BE CAREFUL if you are considering dealing with anyone at this location in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also note that the contract clearly stated we had 72 hours to cancel with no obligation or penalty and we notified them within 8 hours.
