Stayed in the Cottonwood Cabin recently. Every part of our stay was outstanding. Check-in was easy, the cabin was clean and comfortable with air conditioning, hot water, and other amenities as advertised. We utilized the complimentary firewood and lawn chairs to enjoy an evening fire and played cornhole with the equipment provided at the picnic shelter. Would definitely stay here again.

Jasper the Adventure dog and his family stayed in one of the cabins at Timber Ridge. This particular cabin was very old. We felt like we were back in time or a part of Little House. It had been nicely furnished with modern appliances, electricity, running water, tv, refrigerator etc. This is a one room, futon and loft situation. We checked in at a little country store. It was great.

We stayed in the Cottonwood cabin. It was fantastic. The only reason we are giving 4 stars is because of the cleaning fee that is added to the cost and this is why…. There are instructions in the cabin that before leaving/checking out you are to wash all the dishes, clean the cabin, sweep the floor, take out all the garbage, etc. the only thing they ask you not to do is make the bed. Why are we paying you an extra $28 for your cleaning fee when we are doing all the cleaning? I could maybe understand if you had to go in and spend an hour or so cleaning the cabin for the next rental but this is not the case. I could also understand the cleaning fee being added after the fact if the cabin was left a mess, but it was not. I feel like charging a cleaning fee and then expecting your guests to do all the cleaning is a bit ridiculous. We travel a lot and have stayed in many places and have never been charged a cleaning fee in addition to the cost for the accommodations. We also make sure the place is tidy before leaving as that is how I was raised. I understand not everyone is like that.

A friend and I visited to do some hiking. We rented the Chestnut cabin and it was perfect as a base camp! The beds were clean and comfortable and the showers were hot! We didn't utilize the kitchen except for the coffee maker.

Super close to a lot of popular spots too!

Staff in the outpost was friendly and helpful.
