The Preserve is an eco-glamping resort located on 82 acres in upstate New York near Vermont on the Battenkill River. Our hope is that each glamper can relax and unwind and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Ideal for bird watching, trout fishing, hiking, river tubing and kayaking. The glampground also features a pavilion with shared Blackstone griddles, wood fired pizza oven, Egg charcoal cooking, Breeo 36' smokeless open fire cooking pit. Select from our fully outfitted water front cabins, luxurious totally unique tent cabins with bathrooms or star gazing geodesic domes.
Great stay and experience—the resort was so cute and peaceful! For my first glamping experience I am happy I gave it a go. In addition to that the owners and Bethany make you feel so welcome and maintain great customer care and were so kind & genuine—food from the food truck was great, along with the recommended beverage and I took advantage of the complementary activities on site and local area based on the activity list they curated for guests. The accommodations were cute, well decorated, comfortable, and you can tell they take great care of the premises. They also went the extra mile and made my birthday very nice. I look forward to revisiting!!
At first, I wasn't sold on the idea of glamping luxury camping, but after experiencing it at The Preserve Battenkill River Glamping Resort, I'm completely hooked. The view was beautiful and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were super friendly and ensured my time there was awesome.
Host was very personable and communicated with us for any wants or needs we had. Which were none. The location was very serene and beautiful. The cabin we were in was outstanding. Everything you needed was thought in line of utensils, robes, soft towels, coffee/tea. Just everything was thought of!!! Even a “gourmet” food truck. We loved it so much we already reserved a longer stay for 2024
Upon arrival received a bright and warm welcome from staff member, Bethany. Accommodations were extremely clean and intentionally curated. Extra blankets, flash lights and a special wood delivery were made as well! Provisions food truck, staffed by owner Scott had a variety of well thought out menu items and craft beverages. On day 2 upon return Scott had the sauna already fired up for guests! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking, thank you again.
My sister and I had a last minute change in plans when our camping trip was rained out. We happened to find The Preserve and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Bethany and Scott were kind, attentive, and endlessly accommodating. The cabin was just what we had hoped for, clean, thoughtfully prepared, and with the greatest view of the river. We enjoyed the sauna and time spent outside and together. We are already eager to return! Thanks, y’all!
