Great place for Eclipse viewing. Absolutely nobody around... Very clean open and wonderful views. Clean restrooms with running water....not just a stinky OUTHOUSE. Llano Lake / River was nice clean...Wish I had taken a fishing pole.

We come here from out of town once a year and absolutely love this park. The splash pad is fun for the kids and the river is soothing for the mind. Very peaceful and friendly.

This is a nice park. You can walk the trail, climb the rocks, play basketball, or let the kids play on the playground and water pad (during the hot months). There are beautiful Christmas lights during the holidays & Santa, a covered pavillion for parties and Rv spaces to rent. All of these amenities round out this park with a beautiful view of the river. P.S. it's also a great place to relax during lunchtime.

Beautiful day in March 2023 to walk through this gorgeous park. The trail itself is an easy walk along the river, very short (1/2 mile). If you decide to walk the granite rock towards the bridge, it can be difficult if you have bad ankles or bad knees. There is a bathroom if you need it. This time of year is not that crowded, unlike the summer months. Gorgeous Bluebonnets was a sight to see, and the fragrance was phenomenal.

Badu Park has a lot! A lake on the Llano River for kayaking and canoeing (bring your own boat), playscape, walking trail, Dam walking, swimming in the river, picnic pavilions, splash pad, and an RV park. All of it is pretty well maintained.
