Geronimo Creek Retreat is a Vacation Rental Property conveniently
located in Seguin, Texas approximately
30 minutes East of San Antonio
It was frustrating at first there was no one to ask any questions. You pay just for having a place to sleep because check in is 3:00 so you don't get to do much and check out is at 10:00 am and we don't know at that moment when you check out you have to leave the premises too. This summer we stayed in a lot of places and always check out and continue to enjoy the facilities. The person that runs the place was rude to us and he never explained to us why we couldn't continue to enjoy the creek or the pool we pay for a weekend not just for 6 hours. I believe that there are better places to enjoy with your family and spend your money.
Roomy TeePee has 3 beds; sleeper sofa ac/heater; sink; small fridge; hot burner; coffee maker, bbq grill, and fire pit. We reserved 2 TeePees for 10 ladies. We went on a weekend that was very cold, blankets helped, while sitting around the fire pit. The heater in the TeePee worked great. Great getaway!
It was very nice, the rooms were so clean. I would recommend bringing a mattress topper because the beds aren't all that comfortable. Other than that, it's a real good time.
Our life was running on autopilot. Work, rushing everywhere, practice, dinner, homework, and then bath time. We knew we needed to relax and spend quality time away from the norm.

It was an outdoor getaway with all the comforts of home. This well kept property caught our eyes the moment we drove into the gate. It was clean, stocked with everything you would need, and tons of outdoor activities. My kids played till I made them stop, not once asking for their iPads or to go inside. My husband and I relaxed by the fire pit and cooked outdoors our whole trip.
It was the perfect slow down we needed for our family. We will be back. Thank you for the memories and the experience.
The hot tub didn't heat up at all. The stuff in the game room was in really bad shape. The cabin next to us had a loud party until 4:00 AM. The cabin was nice but the amenities weren't as advertised. For the price we paid I feel like we should have had a better experience.
