Our cabin was rustic and comfortable. The hi-lite was the hay ride during the evening and seeing the Longhorns. We enjoyed the pool too!

We visited my parents here in October and actually got married here! The grounds are so well kept and beautiful. The trees provided a lot of shade and you can peek right outside {any} window of the club house or the cabins and see deer any time of day! You’ll even see some of the cattle near the entrance of the park. They were having a Halloween hay ride while we were there too! Community events are held for the kids and adults and everyone participates. The spaces are large and roomy and it seems like everyone picks up after themselves to help keep the park clean! We will be going back in April & are so excited!

Although the lake is extremely low, this is still a nice place to get together with family. The pool is good for the kids, there are updated basketball/tennis courts, tether ball and more. The RV park is huge and can fit so many travelers and there are 6 cabins to rent. Some of them are pet friendly for an extra fee but this is where more TLC could be shown. The ceiling in our room was bare plywood with caulking still showing, not even painted. The kitchen and bathroom are functional but the whole space needs a revamp to charge what they do per night. Overall, it’s a nice place to relax and play but I would rather stay in an RV than the cabins. Most importantly, the AC worked great and kept it nice and cool in this Texas heat. Since I don’t have an RV I probably wouldn’t stay again unless they do some updates in the cabins.

We had a nice two-night stay in a cabin. The cabins sit up high above the resort with a good view to the surrounding area. We met a number of nice people. There's a nice play pool near the office and rec room building. The park is nicely maintained. Unfortunately, and I feel for everyone in the area, the lake has been dry for a few years now. There's plenty of other things to do at the park and in the surrounding area. It's a nice place to kick back and relax!
