Great owners, great friends, great prices, You WILL NOT find more hospitable people in WV. Great place to camp, hot clean showers, tons of space to choose where to set up camp. The creek offers amazing sound at night time.
Really great place for a weekend camping trip when you don't have time to take more than a day or two, but you want to go camping. Showers, rest rooms and electricity. Can't ask for more.
The owners are nice, it's quite and has a stream that drowns out people talking around fires and most of the road noise when you're trying to sleep. The restrooms and showers are about average for a camp better than some but by no means luxurious. The small size is nice because they don't need to drive back and forth patrolling. There isn't much to do close by other than the cheat river but it's not a bad drive to some historic sites and other rivers.
This is a very nice little place with friendly owners. Its right along the river where you can fish and there are woods all around. The owners are very friendly and nice and keep the place clean. The bathrooms which are nice and cleaned every day have 2 showers, 2 regular toilets (not the ones at parks where its super deep), 2 sinks and like 3 mirrors in each bathroom with outlets. The owners don't bother you but if you need anything all you need to do is ask. They also sell loads of wood $20 for a pretty big load) and there is a dollar store and a gas station 5.5 miles down the road. Its also well priced. Its $10/night/person for 13 and up but my 13 yr old stayed for free. It's just a ery nice place. There is also WIFI and obviously electric. They also have camper hookups.
Wonderful campground. Shower houses. Bathrooms. Firewood. Right on the Cheat River. Absolutely amazing.
