Located at the entrance to the Starr Mountain and Chestnut Mountain Horse Trails, this campground features 20 roomy campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, lantern post and horse hitching area (high line). The sites accommodate up to five people and 2 vehicles. There is a public water supply and vault toilet facilities.
From Hwy. 64/411 intersection go north on 411 approximately 12 miles, turn right at the Gee Creek Campground sign. Go approximately 1 mile, turn left just past the State Park Office, cross the railroad tracks, campground is to the left.
Very beautiful place, stayed there for one night, no amenities, but very nice
We are in lost corral campground. Having a great time. We can take a short drive to spring creek and swim , if we had our 🐟 gear we could fish.
