The campground was in a good location. We had a site next to the water . Site number 115 was well maintained, level site, easy to back in. On the site was a grill and a fire pit. You can purchase wood at office for fire pits. The office is where the washer and dryers are located. Their is also bag ice to purchase. The roadways and sites are gravel. Doing the off season they are going to up grade some sites with concrete next to the water. The only down side to campground, that’s why it only got a four stars. Is the gates to get in are locked at 10:00 pm. If you are late, you park at office and walk to your site. Some sites are a good distance from gate. So if late better not have to carry anything. My personal opinion the gates should be open till at least 12:00 . If you out of town and go to Dollywood or to a ballgame. These things run late sometimes. We talked to the campground host. Teresa and her husband Chuck they were real nice and very helpful with any questions we had about campground and places to see and eat around the area. Also I with to use campground shower , bathroom building right after they cleaned them. Best clean and smell bathrooms that I have been in. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone. If you do stay look up Teresa and Chuck campground host, they are great to talk and ask questions to .

Stayed 3 nights here in one of their 4 cabins recently while on a motorbike trip. Really nice place and convenient to all the famous riding roads in the area. Also has gas and good pizza closeby. Great water view from the cabin porch.

As a motorbike guy staying in the cabins, only a couple things that would've made it better:

1. the cabins could use a coat rack on the wall to hang up jackets and motorbike gear - we were able to make do by putting stuff on the unused top bunk, but a coat rack would be better.

2. Bath house was exceptionally clean and had a chair and a small wall hook set- a small shelf would be helpful to place things on as some of my items kept falling off the small hooks.

I'll definitely be back- few things above are not complaints, but simply suggestions for improvement to make it even better for motorbike riders.

Nice campground nice size lots ,water electric and duel sewer hookups. very clean and calm campground. But above all the view over the lake is phenomenal. And don't forget about the boat launch.

My wife and I stayed here for 9 nights to be able to ride the various beautiful roads on our motorcycles. The first weekend we arrived we had three additional family members stay with us who had their own vehicles and trailers to bring their motorcycles. The campground didn’t mind the additional members of our party and even let us park the extra vehicles and trailer in the overflow boat parking area on the East side of the park.

The entire park is very quiet during the week and we only noticed people during the weekend moving around in their campers. During the week it was pretty empty.

They do have a 10pm curfew for their gate which is odd, but understandable to keep the campground safe and quiet. We only had to walk one evening after a late dinner with friends. Not a long walk to any part of the campground.

We will definitely be back to this campground for our next motorcycle trip next year!
