Great place, reasonable price for full hookups. Nice and clean pool but wasn't able to use it. Whole place was very clean, nice place to walk our German shepherd one year old puppy.
I highly recommend camping at Tanglewood Campground and RV Resort. The owners and the campers are very friendly and welcoming. They invited us to sit by their campfire. They told unbelievable stories about huge slimy 5lb frogs that fishermen saw near the pond (near the campsite). We camped during Memorial Day weekend and attended their dinner party. Some of the campers brought their home cooked meals and the food was delicious. The campground is only walking distance from the cool refreshing Kentucky Lake with piles of colorful seashells by the shore. On the way to the lake, we saw a red fox peaking out of the forest.
Great stay in that campground. It recently changed owners and I think they renamed, used to be KOA. I stayed with new owners and rented an RV, which was nice, without problems. I met one of the owners who's a very pleasant, wonderful person and we had great conversations. I was able to walk to trails and rural roads to walk on right outside of campground, no need to drive anywhere. I really enjoyed the visit and would come again when I'm traveling through the area.
