Better not mind drunk strangers repeatedly wandering around your site or knocking on your rig. Somebody even cranked a boombox on our picnic table. Asked for refund after 20 min. and was rudely denied. Awful bathrooms. Total trap. Stay away!

Pretty Clean for a park. We should be proud of the Maysville maintenance department.

This is a quiet little park but not really for the weekenders unless maybe you have a boat to take out in the river. Most of the campers there are seasonal. There is no office and the dump station, if you can call it that, is back over the flood wall, that you have to drive over to get to the park , next to a little brown building. Just a hole in the ground with a little metal plate over. No water to wash out or anything. I was told that there is a guy that runs a honey wagon to dump the campers but usually only does it on Sunday afternoon or Mondays which works great for the seasonal but not really for the weekenders.

It is nice to be able walk down to the river and watch the barges and boats. The kids enjoyed the playground there as well.

There is only one bathhouse which is pretty far away and is shared with everyone at the boat ramp and playground. It is pretty run down inside and the showers were disgusting looking.

We only stayed there because we were visiting family that live just 2 minutes from the park and didn’t really want to stay in a hotel so we might be back only for that reason only. If we didn’t have family there I could probably say with confidence that we wouldn’t be back.
