The is a nice place to fish, swim, hike, or just lower you boat into the water. The posted signs state that you are suppose to have a parking pass to be parked in the lot, however, I've been several times and i have never had one or been asked to supply one. I have deducted a star because the sign on the dock has a list of rules and fishing from the dock is not one of them, although during my last two visits someone each time was ticketed for doing just that.

Watch out! Fee parking. We did not know only local stores sell the parking permit and got a 60$ citation bill on the windshield! (It used to be that you pay 3 $ placed in an enveloppe and get a self service paper tag). Law enforcement officer is not joking.

Nice lake for kayak. We boated to the tip of the other side of the lake in 50 min. It has campground too.

Love this place! So many memories! The boat ramp is one of the best at Cave Run. Short. Camping area nearby, also!
