Great campground, roomy spots, well maintained. Everyone that works are super friendly and helpful, they are definitely dog friendly, they enjoyed Lizzie every time we stopped at the office....recommend to everyone that enjoys being in a true country setting.
Lawrence county lake is the most beautiful lake in Kentucky.. IN MY OPINION... COUNTY SIDE IS THE MOST CLEANSED AND WELL KEPT. NICE CABINS LOTS OF TENT SITES OPEN SPACE AND GOOD FISHING AREA......

Staff was great and allowed us to drive thru and we really liked the camping areas (both tent and cabins). The lake was really low at the time, but we saw deer. The tent sites looked good.
If you like off the grid. You are the right place. it make no sense they don't have wifi one cabins but they got satellite t.v on the cabins. It will be lot cheaper if get rid of satellite. And replace cables. They got Foot Hills. Only place they got is lake and mini golf. It was nice, if was thunder stomach came. They say more that all I see. They put brochure either at the office or in the cabins. But it nice place and clean.
