This is a 55+ community with some camping sites available. Camping sites that are available the 55+ does NOT apply. Community is quiet and the residents and staff are very friendly and welcoming. You are given a key and gate card making it easy to get in and out. There are activities scheduled almost daily for those wanting to participate.

There is a lake on the property and dog park for the fur babies. There weren't any fire pits in the site we stayed at, so be sure to bring your own. The location is great as there is alot to do near by. Blue Springs was about 30 miles. Silver Springs is about 7 miles away. Daytona is about 62 miles away. We enjoyed our stay! We explored the area most days that we were there- but enjoyed the quiet nights at camp. Wi-fi wasn't great, but we didn't mind as we were there to disconnect!

Yes, the location is great, backs up to the beautiful Ocala National Forest and has tons of nature..I digress, It WOULD have tons except they don't believe in "Nature" ? They keep the place like a beach, no kidding, they are determined to undo nature, the management has a crew of two who operate independently, no direction? They blow and mow the grass and grounds down to "SAND"! Leaving "NOTHING" for birds and squirrels to sustain, not to mention the constant noise of mowers and blowers, covering our campsite in dust and noise...!!! All indicators point towards ignorance of the natural habitats of Florida and its ecological balance ? Clue: Trees need moisture from the the decomposition of the natural materials that fall, and grass can't grow up and be green unless you let it get above 1 inches deep.. 5 yrs ago this place was full of wildlife, birds galore, squirrels and deer, rabbits, sandhill cranes, and butterflies, even the occasional bear (which is thier moto?) Now, NOTHING, no birds even, the place is not natural enough for them....or us. Hey TT, GIVE FLORIDA A BREAK AND LET NATURE BE..!!!

Been camped here for 10 years. Love the location, country and woods. Was much better before camp ground sold to Corp. In Calif. We were definitely a 55 plus, not sure we still are.

This is a mixed review. I enjoy the residents, employees and the activities. It is an older park, but the trees are beautiful and many sites are spacious. Some of the side streets are basically gravel/sand. There are quite a few cluttered, unmaintained sites that need cleaning and maintenance. Rules about keeping up long-term properties don't appear to be enforced. There are fun activities (especially during the snowbird season). The residents are very friendly. Rent has been steadily increased, recently above the cost of living inflation rate. The nearby springs, bike routes and rivers are fabulous!

We have lived here over 9 years and have mostly enjoyed the park. However, park management has not been able to solve a recurring noise disturbance from a neighbor who has loud band practice in their trailer. This occurs around four hours per week or more. The sound of the bass and drum reverberates 150 feet away inside our mobile home. You can feel the vibrations and hear the sound over the television and A/C. Park staff have spoken to the neighbor multiple times, but the problem still persists.
