Very nice for the price, nice sites right on the river. Beautiful views. The owners Marilyn and Jonathan are very nice and helpful. There is a small store with many necessities and a deal on firewood. You can feel safe here with a gated entrance. To top it off there is wifi and an excellent cell signal.
Amazing, open camp spaces, with trees and bushes cleared enough to actually park a large trailer. Cute little store, firewood available for purchase, bathrooms and showers were clean. Great fire pits for evenings, and no highway noise, as it's about a mile off the highway.
Amazing camp site. I love this place. We found a big private site to setup the tent and bought some fire wood. They set us up with a lot of dry wood and bark and kindling. Great people and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful and clean campground. A great host who went above and beyond to help out campers when the lower sites unexpectedly and suddenly flooded. We had a wonderful stay, despite mother nature's curveball, and are already planning our next trip in the new year.
Nice campground right on the Susitna River. Organized, individual spots laid out, they take reservations or you can pay when you arrive. $15 a night for a no hookup spot. Not sure what a site with electric costs. Camp hosts were friendly, polite and welcoming. I stayed there last night 09/12/23-09/13/23. I was one of two campsites occupied. Bathrooms and showers (even the porta potties) were CLEAN!!!! Very well kept. Showers are $5 for seven minutes, actual run time per token is about six minutes and forty seconds. After a 15-30 second warm up period, the water was HOT. Would definitely stay again. Not sure if that level of cleanliness is common for this campground, but it’s not for most others I’ve seen in AK. If you’re in need of a spot to stay or shower, it’s hard to beat the quality and price.
