From jct Denali Park Entrance & Parks Hwy 3 (mile post 273.4): Go 7-3/4 mi N on Parks Hwy 3.
The park is in a really great area with a trailhead on site. However, it is very cramped, so having an extra set of eyes to spot for bigger rigs would help. They also had a really nice area to walk our dogs. The only reason it's not a 5 star stop is the sheer amount of vehicles parked all over the rv park, making it difficult to maneuver our 5th wheel through.
We stayed in the campground with our RV caravan group (Adventure Caravans). It was a perfect location and the staff here was very helpful! They also have a staff member who will walk your dogs (for a fee) if you're gone for a full day.
Ended up at Denali RV after a really long day of travel. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person who let me know they had spots available… yay! We had made reservations for a “B” camp spot at Riley Creek in Denali, but all the ones we tried were too tight, so we left. Found Denali RV which has full hook ups and my husband was easily able to back into our spot. Quite frankly, I think we will stay here from now on, we love having full hook-ups!
