About Campground

A quiet, relaxing stop between Fairbanks and Denali State Park. A great place to stay and get the laundry done, catch up online, bike around the village, and still have less than a hour access to the major attractions of Fairbanks and Denali Park. In Athabaskan, Nenana means “a great place to camp between two rivers”. We agree!

This campground is great! Very clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff, recycling available. Perfect 1/2 way point between Denali and Fairbanks and good prices. Highly recommend!

I love Nenana Campground, because there are shower rooms, flush toilet, hookup and laundry. I love the shower room as it is like a private shower room, because inside the shower room there are toilet, toilet sink, floor towel and hand soap. There is no time limit to use the shower, and the fee is already included. I give 5 Star, they also allowed me to do the oil change for my van that already had oil change light on, but there is no spill, even one drop to the surface.

Nice RV park, clean showers, laundry, propane, mini golf, friendly people. We were able to stay for 2 nights with no reservations. After setting up we noticed a problem with our tire and the owner recommended local repair shop, looked up their phone number for us, gave us directions. Neat little town with railroad history and Ice Classic event every year. Great stop for us.

Excellent showers! Very nice host! Would recommend. We paid $35 for a power site, free showers included. Hardly anyone else here in early September. Minimal bugs.
