A quaint, boutique-style getaway destination for couples. Sunset RV Park is a small yet spacious park in the Black Hills that's geared for adults and seniors. Back-in sites with full hook-ups offering 30 and 50 amp receptacles, septic, and water. Located an easy 2 miles from all that downtown Custer has to offer and only 400 yards from direct access to the Mickelson Trail at mile marker 42. Private picnic tables, yard games, community fire pit, and pet friendly.
"The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy." (Psalm 65:12 NLT)
I would give this 10 stars! Tami and Bill were so gracious and nice. Couldn't have had a better experience. The park was quaint, clean, just a perfect place to stay and only a few miles from Custer. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here when we come back this way.
No rooms just RV spaces. Very friendly and clean. Adult place. Absolutely beautiful. We still have 7 more nights here. All hook ups. Main part of Custer in five minutes.
What a little gem of a place. Just 2 miles from Custer and a minute bike ride to the Mickelson Trail. This is a small park with full hookups. Meticulously maintained by the husband/wife team. Tami and Bill were there to great me. We sat at the picnic table and they gave me brochures and maps of the area. A wealth of information. This will be my go to spot everytime I'm in this area. Highly recommend!
Wonderful small campground. Very clean and well maintained. We chose a Deluxe site for the trees and shade. Full hookups at all sites. The sites are grassy and there is a central area with a community firepit. This is an adults only campground which was nice, kept things quiet. It is dog friendly and our 2 dogs loved it. Bill and Tami(the hosts) greeted us after we came in and had homemade dog treats and some lip balm as welcome gifts. I loved the extra touches of flower baskets at each site and central area. Bill and Tami are very knowledgeable about the area and brought maps and flyers of area attractions. It's located just a couple of mile outside of Custer, so easy to take day trips to all the beauty The Black Hills has to offer.
There is no bathhouse, so must be self contained to camp there.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay and will definitely stay again if in the area.
