Sun Lake RV Resort is a 47 unit Lakeside RV & MH community located within a pristine and natural Florida environment. There is plenty to do while staying with us; hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, motocross, and much more. It's less than 1 mile from I-75 so it's minutes away from the entertainment and activities of Downtown Tampa and popular cities such as Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and Clearwater.
Some of our amenities include a cozy clubhouse, climate controlled pool, like new laundry facility and bathhouse with hot showers, free Wi-Fi, horseshoes, shuffleboard, campfire area, RV/boat storage and more. Our 32 acre bass fishing lake is accessible by non motorized or electric watercraft. The bass on average are 3-5 pounds, however we've had up to 8 pounds on occasion.
Our community is well maintained. The owners take great pride in providing a good place to visit each year and also live all year.

This place has been a nightmare to work with! They do not disclose on their website that they are a 55+ community. We booked a week long stay here before being made aware of this. We had to cancel, we called within 12 hours of booking the stay (2+ days before we wanted to checkin) and they did not return phone calls for 3+ days, after our stay was to begin. They charged my credit card and when I called to see why (I spoke to Debbie) I was told they charge upon booking and they do not refund and there was nothing they could do.
Stayed here for four days. Very quiet, nice little park. The permanent residents were very friendly, which we don't always experience. The lady in the office who checked us in was very pleasant. The park is very clean and the sites were level. The only real issue was the amount of space. Your outside living space is shared with your neighbor and we couldn't put out our awning. But, in spite of the space, we were very happy and will use the park in the future.
we were their 1 year ago they had a lot of campers that were living in the park and were less than 40 years old . Cement was all cracked .Spaces very small power was off 4times 2 days once.
No security visous dogs sheriff was their once for dogs. pan handlers all the time. Debby did not care.
