Seriously. Yosemite is a madhouse of people. Every single campsite booked. All it took to find a campsite was to cross park boundaries into the Sierra National Forest ,and we found this site up a really dusty and somewhat treacherous road. Poach a shower at the Wawona, and head across the road and up this hill. There were several campsites and we were the only ones there.

Hard to find at night... but great location with quick access to Yosemite. Mosquito Heaven in July... So bring your bug spray! Easy access on dirt road with some patch of sand (if you are on a motorcycle, watch out for those areas).

no facilities, no water, just super primitive..

but

not busy at all and

nature is plentiful... has tiny creek and ground staying semi wet around, causing all kinds of flowers and berries to grow throughout the summer.

Good camp spot. You'll need a high clearance vehicle to drive the trails to reach it. Lots of fire wood onsite and already set fire places. Just keep and eye out for bears and there is no mobile signal.
