Been there twice. Totally awesome. Huntington right down the road and drove to mono hot springs. Will be going again in June when it's hot in the valley.
Very nice place to get down and away from the road. There is a nice littler stream that runs through the campground and it appears that it is good for some day hiking/off-road vehicle use.
Really awesome campground. There are some spots that are far away from all the other camps which provide a lot of privacy. When we went, there weren't any bugs, ants, wild animals except a few tagged cows who seemed friendly.
Great location. Very dusty though so things will get dirty including clothes. Also be prepared for the high elevation. Not as much oxygen that high up so pace yourself.
