About Campground

Directions

Directions from the North: From Highway 99, go East on Belmont (which becomes Trimmer Springs Rd). Look for “Doyal’s Store” just past Piedra Rd. as a land mark. Don’t turn at the road to Pine Flat Dam where the Post office is located. Continue on Trimmer Springs Rd. and stay right at the “Y” in the road which becomes Sunnyslope Rd. You’ll see the “I Forgot Store” on your right. About a half mile down Sunnyslope Rd is Lakeridge Campground on your right. Follow signs to the office. Note—Most Cell Phones don’t work up here so please look for Doyal’s and the I Forgot Store as signs that you are headed in the right direction. You missed the turn at Sunnyslope Rd if you see the Ponderosa MHP and/or the Oak Knolls MHP.

While the place was well kept, the management does a poor job of regulating quiet time. They stressed to us that after 10pm to keep it down and we followed the rules. However there were several obnoxious campsites with people playing drinking games, cackling women, and no respect for those around them. The campsites are basically on top of each other and very small and you cannot burn year round as their website states. Will not be returning. We booked 3 nights and our friend did the same , and we both packed up and left the next morning. The people that live there were worse than those trying to get away for a vacation. If you try to sleep before 1am good luck to you.

P.S. this is where all the jet skiers apparently go (which fits the behavior), so if you fit the description above, this place is for you.

I stayed there last summer and can't say enough GREAT things about it.

Clean! Incredible Hosting staff, Sandi and Chris, EXCELLENT neighbors, and more.

I'd have to say that the few months I stayed there contributed to some of the BEST memories I'll ever have. Thanks again Lakeridge! I miss you!

Campsite was amazing thanks to the host! Found us a very accommodating spot. Definitely would come back! It is perfect distance to the lake.

As to the previous review left to the fat f*** complaining about us jetskiers he blasted heavy metal music at 7:30 am for 2 hours talk about not caring about all the other campers on the ground and yelling at people when they walked by. Sounds like they were the issue lol.
