A little hard to get to, but an epic spot. Lovely cool lake and fantastic views of Banner Peak and Mount Ritter.
One of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen, with a snowy Mountain in the background. A spectacular place to relax and take in the views.
Beautiful lake with nice campsites if you take the tail of the JMT on the northwest side of the lake. Includes a sandy beach that is a short swim to a lake island. Also a short hike to get to the Ritter Sadle.
