This was not a planned camping trip. Just a quick stopover in La Grange so I knew any camp ground nearby the 3 lakes in this area would be better than cheap motel.

Was really impressed with the camp ground A. Lots of good campsites on the lake side, though the water has retreated so much so be careful with the slopes. The interior campsites also have great views of the lake too.

Got here on Monday of mid March and had the whole park to ourselves. The rates was also very budget friendly.

There is also a swimming lagoon and house boat also available for rent.

Lots of bathrooms through out the campground. Could use some updating when budget permits.

I would recommend friends and family to camp here.

They charge 40$ per car per night and this is not mentioned anywhere on their website nor advertised at the location. When questioned about this they are upfront rude to answer any questions. This amount is ridiculous after paying for the camp grounds. The swimming lagoon is too small for such a huge campground. It’s usually full. Toilets and showers are not very clean for the amount they charge. It’s definitely a boaters paradise but do not recommend for camping overnight.

Awsome camping. Water was just drained for winter but ,we were still close enough to walk down and do some fishing.
