If you are not from here you need to understand that in the summer months (fall too) it will be HOT AND HUMID. ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. The bath houses are not air conditioned. They are also very old, not maintained, DIRTY and full of spiders and wasps. The first one had cigarette butts on the ledges, mold under the mats and it wouldn’t drain. The other had dirt all over the floor and the shower stall. They promise improvements are coming in the 90-120 minute tour but per one review they’ve been saying that for at least 10 years. They promise great amenities on their website but The indoor pool had enough sand in it to build a castle and an oily film on the surface. The game room had three pool tables that must have just barely survived a slasher movie. They turned the water off in the middle of the day and told no one. The grass doesn’t seem to have been mowed anywhere recently. Most pads are not paved. The cabin they showed us on the tour had nasty carpet stains. The only highlight is the Styx River and they did not build it. Also my invite said my stay was free for 3 nights, 4 days but because I didn’t buy the $17000 (yes that is the correct number) time share they charged for the last night.

Wish everything advertised would have been open but it's understandable with the construction going on. The grounds are clean and it's quiet and we enjoyed ourselves.

Bathroom are so old and have not been worked on in months. Whole resort needs a face lift ocean canyon you should be ashamed to say this is part of your resorts. Also it looks like people are living full time in camp ground. From my understanding it is not allowed

If you love the sounds of non-stop traffic and continual daytime gunfire, this it the place for you!

Truthfully if we had realized how close we were to the gun range, we’d have never booked our stay. The park is nice enough and the staff is great but…

This RV park is a time share and not open to the public. There were a lot of campers there and I'm guessing most of them were full time residents. Which makes sense as although buying in to the time share is expensive, it's probably cheaper that owning a house and paying utilities. Plus I believe someone that has bought in to this RV time share can go camp at 6 or 7 other "sister" campgrounds as a part of your buy in. We went for an orientation that was offered when we purchased a RV. We were driven around the campground on a golfcart. The RV spots are very close together. They are all terraced into the hill leading down to the creek. Anybody that has a RV over 30 feet would find it difficult to impossible to park a car next to your rig. It's unlikely anyone with a rig 40+ could get into a spot. There was a huge burn pile of tree limbs, brush, and construction debris they told us needed to be burned. There were approx 10 abandoned travel trailers on the property which we were told had been there for years. We were also told many of the cabins we being remodeled after black mold was found in them. From my point of view this place is not a resort. It looks like the place is in need of a lot of maintenance and updating.
